Users can choose to have their posts featured in the following locations on the OpenWord platform:
- On the main banner
- On the side banner
- At the top of the Homepage post list
- Highlighted in their organic location on the Homepage post list
- At the top of the category list for which the post classifies
When users request for their posts to be featured, they must pay the platform in NorthPark tokens. OpenWord sells the collected tokens back to the market, allowing other users to purchase tokens and have their posts displayed as well.
A percentage of the cash generated by each token transaction is kept in a pool, which is subsequently utilised to purchase tokens from the market, therefore preserving a realistic supply-demand balance.
