Every user must possess a Web3 crypto wallet in order to access the OpenWord platform. Registration using a crypto wallet serves two main purposes:
- Establishing the user’s identity: Users on the platform will be identified based on their unique crypto wallet IDs, lowering the possibility of anonymous fraudulent activities.
- Ensuring that the user can pay: All transactions on OpenWord, including posting and selling of NFTs, take place using cryptocurrencies. If a user wishes to perform a payment-related activity on the platform, the user must first have the requisite quantity of cryptocurrency in their associated wallet. In the case that the wallet has insufficient funds, the platform will be able to prevent transactions that the user might not be able to pay for.
